Senior Engineering Manager at Ditto

Connor Power has a diverse and extensive work experience. Connor is currently working at Ditto as the Data Replication Team Lead, a role they started in December 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Data Replication Engineer at Ditto from February 2020 to November 2022.

Before joining Ditto, Connor co-founded Teleportr in 2018 and worked as a Co-Founder & Engineer until December 2019. In this role, they utilized offline-sync techniques and geolocation data to develop a system for automatic parcel delivery. Teleportr received recognition for its innovation and use of satellite navigation data, earning a European Space Agency Galileo Masters Award.

Connor also gained experience in mobile development as the Head of Mobile Development at LGI Logistics Group International GmbH from December 2017 to April 2018. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at adesso AG from June 2017 to November 2017.

Additionally, Connor worked as a Senior Sync Engineer at Cultured Code in multiple periods, from May 2016 to May 2017, from August 2015 to January 2016, and from May 2011 to January 2015. Connor played a significant role in developing the offline-first data sync engine for the award-winning personal task manager, Things 2.0.

In the past, Connor served as a Pilot Officer in the Royal New Zealand Air Force from January 2015 to April 2016. Connor also worked as a Lead Developer at Salted Herring from October 2009 to April 2011.

Furthermore, Connor had a brief stint as a Guest Lecturer at Victoria University of Wellington in May 2010.

Connor Power received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree between 2003 and 2007, although the specific school is unknown.
