VP of Engineering at Ditto

Jon Fox began their work experience in 2006 as a Developer at Bound To Stay Bound, Inc. Jon then co-founded IntenseDebate.com in 2006 and served as the CTO until 2010 when the company was acquired by Automattic. From 2008 to 2010, Jon worked at Automattic as a Comment Connoisseur. In 2010, Jon became the CTO and Co-Founder of Torbit, where they led technical strategy and product design until 2013 when Torbit was acquired by Walmart Labs. At Walmart Labs, Jon initially served as the Performance Junkie and Torbit Team Lead, integrating Torbit's technology into Walmart's systems. From 2016 to 2020, they held the role of Director of Engineering, Edge Foundation. In 2021, Jon joined Ditto as the VP of Engineering.

Jon Fox attended Illinois Wesleyan University in 2003, where they studied Computer Science. However, they did not complete a degree at this institution. From 2003 to 2006, they then transferred to Illinois College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. Finally, in 2006-2007, they pursued further studies at Washington University in St. Louis, focusing on Computer Science, but no specific degree is provided for this period.
