Steven Turner

Steven Turner serves as the Director of Engineering for the Public Sector at Ditto since September 2025. Previously, from October 2021 to December 2025, Steven held dual roles as Chief Technology Officer and Advisor at Darkhive, where Steven co-founded the company and led a team in developing five core products focused on human-machine collaboration in safety and defense. Prior to that, Steven was the Director of Technology at CTI from January 2009 to October 2021, managing the Technology Division and emphasizing software solutions for tactical signals intelligence and electronic warfare while successfully building a high-caliber engineering team. Earlier career roles included Developer at the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics and Programmer/Web Designer at Quality Built Homes, along with a brief tenure as a Microwave Photonics Technician at the Naval Research Laboratory. Steven holds a B.A. in Physics and Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from St. Mary's College of Maryland and a B.S. in Physics and Computer Science from the University of St Andrews.
