Head of IA department at Dive.tech

Marta Salas has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Marta is currently the Head of the IA department at Dive.tech, a position they began in November 2022. Before that, they worked as an XR for Business Lecturer at ISDI starting in March 2021.

In 2021, Marta also served as a Project Manager at Prosegur, where they were responsible for project managing and delivering video analytics on cloud and edge computing projects. Marta also served as the Computer Vision Team Lead within the Extended Reality Studio in Spain, overseeing the development of augmented reality and virtual reality applications.

Marta's earlier experiences include working as a PhD candidate and Computer Vision Researcher at Universidad de Zaragoza, focusing on incorporating semantic information into SLAM techniques to enhance robot perception. Marta was also a Visiting Scholar at UC Berkeley, where they researched algorithms for non-rigid structure from motion (NRSfM) for 3D reconstruction of videos.

Marta Salas has a strong educational background in computer science and autonomous control. Marta obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Universidad de Zaragoza, where they studied from 2011 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Autonomous Control at Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 2009 to 2010. Marta's academic journey began with a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the same university, which they completed between 2004 and 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Marta has also acquired several certifications.
