Dr. Val Reaves

Dr. Val Reaves has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2011 when they were a Pre-College Programs Ambassador at Oregon State University. In 2013, they became the Director of Sales/Account Executive at Hannah's Helping Hands, where they were responsible for retaining an annual quota of $1.5 million. In 2016, they were an Assistant Fourth Grade Teacher at Open Window School, where they assisted the lead teacher in various responsibilities and led small groups of advanced students in mathematics. In 2017, they were an Account Executive/Director of Coding at Hatch Coding, where they met an annual quota of $2 million in a brand new market and territory. In 2018, they were an Account Executive/Educational Coordinator at C2 Education, where they conducted sales meetings with new prospected accounts and increased monthly sales targets by 25%. In 2022, they became a Client Operations Executive at Diveplane Corporation and a Customer Success Manager at ONEder, where they were responsible for an annual quota of $500,000 revenue for a designated region.

Dr. Val Reaves completed a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences from Oregon State University between 2009 and 2013. In 2014-2016, they obtained a Master of Arts in Teaching with a focus on Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Concordia University-Portland. From 2016-2021, they completed a Doctor of Education in Leadership, Innovation, and Continuous Improvement from Concordia University-Wisconsin. Additionally, they completed a MicroMasters in Data, Economics, and Development Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 2017 and 2019.
