Jacob Beel is currently a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Diveplane Corporation, a role they have held since 2020. Prior to that, they were a Data Science Engineer and a Data Science Research Intern at the same company. In 2020, they were also a Graduate Student Researcher at the Georgia Institute of Technology. From 2018 to 2020, they were a Member of Technical Staff at RAM Laboratories, Inc., where they researched and developed security solutions and programs in vulnerability detection, supply chain management, machine learning, and other areas. From 2015 to 2018, they were an Intern at the Naval Postgraduate School, researching methods of finding forensically "interesting" files in file systems. Lastly, they were an Intern at SPAWAR in 2013.
Jacob Beel attended UC Irvine from 2013 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Jacob then went on to pursue a Master's of Science in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they are expected to complete in 2021.
