Software Engineer at Diveplane

Mike Hanna has been working in the software engineering industry since 1990. Mike started their career at General Dynamics as a Software Engineer, then moved to The Western Company in 1991. In 1996, they joined Compaq as a Software Engineer, then Celotek in 1998. In 2000, they worked as a Software Engineer at Hatteras Networks and became an Entrepreneur/Consultant in 2001. In 2005, they joined Cisco as a Technical Leader where they developed REST APIs and backend functionality for licensing, monitoring and security web applications in Java, Python and Ruby on Rails. Mike also led a team addressing security gaps in complex, clustered applications that utilized Kubernetes, Docker, Kong, etc. In 2020, they took a break from corporate life to work full time on Founce, an ambitious passion project focused on incidental discovery of books, music, TV series and movies. Mike is currently working as a Software Engineer at Diveplane Corporation since 2022.

Mike Hanna attended The University of Kansas from 1985 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering.
