Steve Nelson

Steve Nelson is an experienced board member and investor with a track record of successful investments in various companies. Steve co-founded Carbon in 2013, where they were launch CEO, responsible for raising its original Series A financing, and became the initial Chairman of the company. In 2015, they became Co-Lead Investor and Board Member of Sift Media, and in 2017 they became Co-Lead Investor and Board Member of Diveplane Corporation. In 2018, they co-founded and became a Board Member of re-inc. In 2020, they became an Investor and Board Member of malibu mylk and a Board Member of ZealCare. In 2021, they became a Founding Board Member of Alice L. Walton School of Medicine. In 2014, they became a Board Member of SciQuest:JAGGAER, and from 2002 to 2019 they were a Board Member and Chairman of the Executive Committee of Blue Cross NC.

Steve Nelson attended Wake Forest University from 1977 to 1980, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business.
