Greg Weaver

Greg Weaver is an accomplished intellectual property professional with extensive experience in patent law and technical expertise. Currently serving as VP of Intellectual Property at Divergent since July 2019, Weaver previously held roles as VP of Intellectual Property and Legal, Patent Attorney at Arent Fox, Senior Patent Counsel at Technicolor, and Patent Attorney at Lee, Hong, Degerman, Kang & Waimey. Weaver’s background also includes significant contributions as a Patent Attorney at Morrison & Foerster LLP and Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper & Scinto, as well as teaching leadership and national security at the University of Southern California Air Force ROTC. Weaver's engineering experience includes working as an Electrical Engineer for the United States Air Force, collaborating with major aerospace contractors. Academic credentials include a Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law, a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the United States Air Force Academy.
