Diverse UK is a social and support network for ages 16+ that identify as autistic in the South West, organised by people that identify as autistic and neurodivergent.

Our main objectives are to help people with autism to develop social networks and self-confidence using their interests/shared activities with the aim of reducing social isolation and make people feel connected and encourage positive relationships 

We host many events monthly such as our Pub Social, Arts Social, Dungeons & Dragons, Cinema Clubs, Gaming Social & Sports Clubs.

We aim to train up members within each group to be able to run that activity independently under the charity name through a self sustaining model that equips group leaders with extended social skills, awareness, organisation, self-esteem and overall better mental wellbeing.


Sensory Calm Spaces have been developed by Diverse UK in conjunction with our team of specialist autism sensory integration specialists and experts.

We are currently the only national organisation that brings together all sensory needs for autistic people, using the evidence based low arousal approach (National Autistic Society, Studio 3).

We can offer gentle and kind autistic and neurodivergent staff who use their lived experience, alongside highly specialised Occupational Therapists, to create sensory calm spaces for autistic and neurodivergent people at public events including festivals.

We are currently working at the highest industry standards in accessibility through our Sensory Calm Spaces for neurodivergent customers.
