Charles Stephens has extensive work experience in various positions related to operations, manufacturing engineering, and quality assurance.

Charles began their career at Imperial Die Casting as a Process Engineering Intern, where they focused on implementing Lean Manufacturing principles and improving productivity through faster changeover processes.

Charles then worked at Bosch North America as a Design Validation Co-op, responsible for testing and validating fuel products to manage risk and meet customer requirements. This experience provided him with knowledge of failure modes and fuel injector systems, which proved valuable in their subsequent roles.

Following their time at Bosch, Charles joined DENSO as a Senior Specialist, overseeing audit benches for new product launches and internal quality. Charles managed the purchase and project management of multiple benches and collaborated with quality technicians to ensure transparency between parts produced locally and those from DENSO's headquarters in Japan. Additionally, they addressed daily internal quality issues.

Charles then transitioned to Shiloh Industries, where they served as a Quality Engineer before moving on to DiversiTech Corporation. At Shiloh Industries, they developed their expertise in quality assurance.

At DiversiTech Corporation, Charles held several positions, starting as a Quality Engineer and gradually progressing to Manufacturing Engineering Manager. In their last role, they were responsible for operations transformation, integration, and overseeing a team of individual contributors. Charles also standardized production planning processes to optimize inventory levels across multiple manufacturing sites. Notably, they successfully launched a new site in Leesburg, FL, resulting in significant cost savings and increased production and distribution efficiencies.

Throughout their career, Charles has demonstrated proficiency in lean methodologies, process improvement, scrap reduction, and capital expenditure management. Charles has consistently delivered results and contributed to operational excellence in the companies they have worked for.

Charles Stephens received their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University. Charles attended the university from 2006 to 2012.
