Ben Hartlein

Ben Hartlein currently serves as Vice President of Operations at Divert since August 2025. Prior to this role, Ben held multiple positions at Bunge from May 2020 to September 2025, culminating in the role of Regional Director of Operations, where responsibilities included overseeing two multi-site crush assets and an export terminal. Earlier experience includes serving as Plant Manager at HAMLET PROTEIN, managing the sole US plant for hydrolyzed soy protein production, and various supervisory and engineering roles at Cargill, focusing on soy crush operations and production engineering. Ben earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA from Penn State University.
