Benjamin Miller

Sr. Manager - Project Development at Divert

Benjamin Miller has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Benjamin started their career in 2010 as a Park Development Crew Member at Red Mountain Park. In 2012, they interned at Corporación Nacional Forestal (CONAF) as a Research Intern and Analyst, where they conducted a research project on carnivore attacks on endangered deer species. From 2013 to 2013, they worked at The Nature Conservancy as a Conservation Intern, managing and mentoring high school students in an environmental leadership program. In 2014, they interned at the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation as an Operations Intern, assisting with park inspections and public outreach. In 2015, Benjamin worked as an Agricultural Innovations Documentarian at GW Planet Forward, hosting a film series and curating content about food and agricultural innovations. Benjamin also served as an Assistant High School Program Coordinator at City Kids Wilderness Project, providing program support and planning for high school students.

Since 2016, Benjamin has been working at Divert, starting as a Waste Diversion Analyst and later moving up to a Program Manager role. In their current position as Sr. Manager - Project Development, they collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define and achieve program goals for Divert's Cardboard Tracking program. Benjamin tracks and interprets data and key metrics, advising the product team and customers on issue resolution. Benjamin's work experience demonstrates their expertise in program management, environmental conservation, and outdoor education.

Benjamin Miller pursued their education at Middlebury College from 2011 to 2015. During their time there, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies/Biology. Later on, in October 2020, they obtained a certification in 5G Leadership from Alpha UMi Inc.
