Jaime Taboada is an experienced professional with a background in investment banking, venture capital, and entrepreneurship. Jaime currently serves as Co-Founder & CEO of Divibank, a data-driven financing platform. Prior to this, they were an Entrepreneur-in-Residence & Investor at MAYA CAPITAL, and an Investment Banking Associate and Analyst at Goldman Sachs from 2014-2019. In 2014, they were an Intern at Neu Venture Capital, where they analyzed potential investments and devised market and industry analyses. From 2013-2014, Jaime was a Teaching Assistant at Columbia University in the City of New York, where they provided feedback to students on generating ideas, developing business models, and creating financial models. Jaime also interned at Valor Consulting, where they advised the largest cable telecommunications company in Panama on sales force strategies. In 2013, Jaime was part of Columbia's Studies in Operations Research, where they consulted an Anesthesiologist on optimizing the shift schedule of the department's doctors. Jaime also participated in a Lean LaunchPad workshop, where they created and updated a business model and strategized ways to enter the market with a new venture. In 2011, Jaime interned as a Summer Accountant at Triple A, where they realized bank conciliations. Finally, in 2010, they were a Resident Advisor/Assistant and Research Assistant at Hartwick College Residential Life and Housing, where they promoted and educated the growth and development of residents, executed and guided programs dealing with wellness, social, mental, and health issues, and analyzed the social and economic impact of Hartwick on the local community.

Jaime Taboada received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Engineering Management Systems from Columbia Engineering from 2012 to 2014, with a Minor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Jaime also received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from Hartwick College from 2009 to 2012, with a Minor in Mathematics.
