Divine Noire Creations was founded by LaPortia Jones, a visionary neurodivergent Black woman who sought more than just survival—she sought creation, freedom, and legacy. After years navigating toxic work environments and internalized expectations, she embraced candlemaking as both a therapeutic outlet and a radical act of self-care. What began as a personal journey quickly evolved into a mission to reimagine rest, healing, and creativity through scent.

Divine Noire Creations crafts culturally rich soy candles and wax melts, each hand-poured in small batches using eco-conscious materials. Inspired by scent memories, ancestral wisdom, and the essence of Black joy, every product tells a story. From the nostalgic comfort of Sweet Potato Soul to the tranquil embrace of Blessings of Ease, each candle is named with intention and designed to honor rest, softness, and spiritual restoration.

This is more than a candle shop—it’s a legacy in the making. At its core, Divine Noire Creations exists to make healing accessible, beautiful, and rooted in love.
