Chris H.

Chris H. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies.

Starting in 2010, Chris worked as an Operations Assistant at The University of Chicago Press - BiblioVault, where they managed the conversion of PDFs into reflowable-text formats.

In 2016, Chris transitioned to the role of Junior Web Developer at the same company, University of Chicago Press - BiblioVault, until 2018.

From 2018 to 2021, Chris joined Mintel as a Software Developer, where they had various responsibilities. This included being an SRE for the Mintel Data Platform, where they provisioned and deployed infrastructure through Terraform to Amazon Web Services. Chris also containerized services within a distributed microservice architecture using Docker. Additionally, they implemented continual deployment and integration of services with a Jenkins pipeline, monitored services using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpsGenie, and worked on reducing AWS costs.

Finally, starting in 2021, Chris joined divvyDOSE as a Senior Software Engineer.

Chris H. completed a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy at the University of Chicago from 2006 to 2010.
