Iván Mayo began their career in 2008 as a Schoolarship at Apple Spain, where they worked as a Spanish product manager assistant. In 2009, they were a Becario - Schoolarship at Siemens Industry. In 2010, they worked as an R&D Software & Electronics Engineer at Ganetec Global Solutions, where they were responsible for image and video decoding using nVidia CUDA GPUs, H264, MPEG4, MJPEG decoding and motion detection. Iván also developed their own motion detection algorithm using CUDA. In 2011, Iván Mayo was an R&D Software Engineer (Video Specialist) at FLIR Systems, where they developed both Linux and Windows video libraries based on Live555 used to record H264, MPEG4 and MJPEG videos from IP/RTSP network cameras. In 2012, they became the R&D Manager and CTO at PlayGiga, where they led Cloud Gaming software development and service startup building the correct hardware infrastructure for the system and starting key technological partnerships with hardware manufacturers and telco companies. Iván also developed a Cloud Gaming middleware that streams any game without any source code modification from the game publishers. In 2017, Iván Mayo became the CTO & CoFounder of Dixper, a platform disrupting content creation enabling streamers to monetize selling new and unprecedented realtime interactions. Iván was responsible for interacting with the stream to the game or with the content creator itself, and Dixper's underlaying technologies made new magical moments happen.
Iván Mayo attended the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 2004 to 2010, where they obtained an Ingeniero Técnico Industrial degree in Electrónica Industrial.
