William Wong

William Wong has a well-rounded work experience in various roles and companies. William started their career as a Project Manager at Enterprise Integration Technologies, where they led project teams in developing and promoting early examples of Internet technologies and e-commerce systems. William then joined HP as a Senior Manager, leading software engineering and professional services teams in the development and deployment of Internet SET and SSL credit card payment systems. After that, they worked at Encirq Corporation as the Director of Data Center Operations.

In 2003, William joined NetDeposit, where they held multiple roles, including EVP and GM of the Merchant Solutions Group and CTO and EVP of Engineering. In these positions, they were responsible for profitability, customer growth, and product management. William also provided technology vision and engineering leadership, ensuring successful delivery with major US banks and check processors.

From 2013 to 2016, William served as the Executive Director at Cancer Commons, and from 2016 to 2018, they worked at Frame as the Head of Enterprise Solutions. Finally, William Wong obtained their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, where they studied from 1989 to 1993.
