William Wong

William Wong has a well-rounded work experience in various roles and companies. William started their career as a Project Manager at Enterprise Integration Technologies, where they led project teams in developing and promoting early examples of Internet technologies and e-commerce systems. William then joined HP as a Senior Manager, leading software engineering and professional services teams in the development and deployment of Internet SET and SSL credit card payment systems. After that, they worked at Encirq Corporation as the Director of Data Center Operations.

In 2003, William joined NetDeposit, where they held multiple roles, including EVP and GM of the Merchant Solutions Group and CTO and EVP of Engineering. In these positions, they were responsible for profitability, customer growth, and product management. William also provided technology vision and engineering leadership, ensuring successful delivery with major US banks and check processors.

From 2013 to 2016, William served as the Executive Director at Cancer Commons, and from 2016 to 2018, they worked at Frame as the Head of Enterprise Solutions. At Nutanix, they continued their career in Solutions Architecture and Customer Success, playing a key role until 2023 when they joined Dizzion Inc. in the same capacity.

In addition to their corporate roles, William was also self-employed from 2001 to 2013, providing advisory services to Internet startups and established companies. William successfully conducted due diligence for multinational companies, venture capital firms, and private investors and recommended migration strategies.

William Wong attended Santa Rosa High School from 1981 to 1984. William then pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University from 1984 to 1988. Following that, they continued their education at Stanford University, completing their Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from 1988 to 1989. Finally, William Wong obtained their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, where they studied from 1989 to 1993.
