Bassem ELABD

Bassem ELABD is a seasoned telecommunications executive with over 27 years of experience in network strategy, expansion, and digital transformation across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. They currently serve as the Access Network Director at Djezzy, a position held since 2011, and have previously led various teams in roles such as BSS Group Leader at Alcatel Indonesia and BSS Senior Manager at Orascom Telecom Algeria. Bassem's expertise includes securing regulatory licenses, defining spectrum strategies, and optimizing operations for profitability. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Cairo University, where they studied from 1992 to 1997.
