Yongsen Chen

Yongsen Chen is an accomplished software architect and manager with extensive experience in the technology industry. Since May 2015, Yongsen has served at DJI as a Software Architect and Manager, specializing in the architecture of boot, RTOS/Linux/Android, multimedia, security, and system software for Vision/Camera/Drone SoCs and products, while also managing the Embedded System Department. Prior to this, Yongsen worked at Marvell Semiconductor from July 2011 to May 2015, advancing from Software Execution Architect to Staff Software Engineer roles, focusing on system design and the development of security frameworks and bootloaders. Earlier experience includes leading software development at Telegent Systems and algorithm development for smoke and flame detection at ProSafe Safety Inc. Yongsen began a career in academia as a Teaching Assistant at Xi'an Jiaotong University and holds a Master’s degree in Instrument Science and Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering & Automation from the same institution.
