Ben Jones has a diverse work experience in mechanical engineering. Ben started their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Delta Design in 1999, where they performed engineering design work and supervised technicians. In 2002, they became a Licensed Mechanical Engineer at Pacific Design Innovations Inc before joining San Diego State University as a Lecturer, where they taught thermodynamics and heat transfer courses and supervised lab activities. Since 2008, Ben has been working at D&K Engineering, initially as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and currently as a Principal Mechanical Engineer. In this role, they have been responsible for conducting R&D, analysis, and design activities, utilizing various analysis tools and working with a team of talented engineers to provide innovative and cost-effective solutions to clients.
Ben Jones received their PhD in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained their MS in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University, studying from 1995 to 2004. In 1991, they completed their secondary education at CCHS, though no specific degree or field of study is mentioned.
