Derek Chamberlain

Derek Chamberlain, MBA, is currently the Managing Director at Ascential Medical & Life Sciences in Corvallis, where they manage a contract manufacturing plant with over 150 employees. With more than 20 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, they have a strong background in engineering and operations, having previously held leadership roles at DuPont, Korvis Automation, and Corteva Agriscience. Derek's expertise includes negotiation, business strategy, and team leadership, consistently delivering significant cost savings and productivity improvements throughout their career. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, both from Virginia Commonwealth University, each completed with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
