Scott Valoff, CID has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the engineering field. Scott started their career at Greater Alarm as an Installer and Service Technician from 1987 to 1997. From 1999 to 2006, they worked at Sensoria Corp. as a Senior Design Engineer, where they played a key role in the development of an outdoor mesh WiFi router. Scott then joined Cypress Envirosystems in 2007 as a Principle Hardware Design Engineer, where they were responsible for all hardware development and acted as the lead engineer on a team that developed a cost-effective wireless gateway. Since 2012, Scott has been working at D&K Engineering as a Principal Electrical Engineer.
Scott Valoff, CID holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering, which they earned from UCLA between 1997 and 1999. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles between 1995 and 1997.
In addition to their academic achievements, Scott Valoff has also obtained the IPC Certified Interconnect Designer certification from IPC-Association Connecting Electronics Industries in 2011.
