Bevan Johnstone

Bevan Johnstone is an experienced Health and Safety Manager at DKSH since February 2022, with a robust background in health and safety management across various organizations. Previously, Bevan served as Branch Manager for the NZ Institute of Safety Management and worked as a Health and Safety Advisor for Central Hawke's Bay District Council. Additional experience includes a Health and Safety Intern role at the Ministry of Health New Zealand and extensive volunteer service as a firefighter with Fire and Emergency NZ for nearly two decades. Bevan's earlier career as a Radiation Therapist spanned multiple organizations and emphasized health and safety advocacy, ergonomic improvements, and patient care. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management from Southern Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from the University of Otago.
