Birgit Creemers

Birgit Creemers is a highly experienced legal professional currently serving as a Senior Lead Lawyer in the Litigation & Regulatory department at DLA Piper since July 2017. Prior to this role, Birgit worked as a jurist for Stad Hasselt and gained valuable experience as an advocaat-stagiair at ORYS Advocaten, specializing in spatial planning and environmental law. Birgit's early legal training includes internships at Stibbe and Van Gompel-Renette Advocaten, as well as a position at Bracquené Legal Consulting. Birgit holds a Master's degree in International and European Law - Public Law from KU Leuven, a Bachelor's degree in Law from KU Leuven, and a postgraduate qualification in Real Estate from KU Leuven. Additionally, education includes a brief attendance at Københavns Universitet in 2012.
