Gerry Bean

Gerry Bean is a senior consultant at DLA Piper's Corporate Group in Melbourne, specializing in M&A, corporate governance, strategic management, and crisis management within the Energy, Health, and Industrials sectors. With extensive experience in navigating complex transactions and corporate compliance, Gerry has held roles at DLA Phillips Fox and served as a director at the Victoria Law Foundation and chair of Wallumatta Legal. Gerry’s academic background includes a PhD and LLM from Cambridge University, as well as degrees in Law and Economics from Monash University. They are also actively involved in pro bono work and have contributed to the LIV's Ethics Committee and served as a former director of the LIV and DLA Piper International.
