Michael Strapp

Michael Strapp is a Partner at DLA Piper since June 2016, specializing in intellectual property disputes as lead counsel. Strapp has extensive experience serving as first-chair trial and appellate counsel in patent, copyright, trademark, and trade secret litigation for various clients, including prominent organizations like Citrix and MIT. Prior to DLA Piper, Strapp was a Partner at Goodwin Procter LLP from May 2006 to May 2016 and worked as an Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP from 2002 to 2006. Strapp also held an editorial position at Edmunds in 1999. Educational qualifications include a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. from Columbia University.
