Perham Gorji

Perham Gorji is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as a Partner at DLA Piper since July 2023. Prior experience includes nearly nine years as the Deputy Chief Counsel for Litigation at the FDA, where Perham supervised litigation staff on various civil and criminal matters and coordinated initiatives with the Department of Justice. Earlier roles encompass serving as a Trial Attorney at the Department of Justice in the Consumer Protection Branch, where Perham represented government agencies in cases related to consumer protection laws, and as an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Columbia, successfully prosecuting numerous criminal cases. Perham began a legal career as a Law Clerk at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and further honed legal skills as an Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. Perham holds a JD from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from Duke University.
