Robert Bishop

Robert Bishop is an experienced corporate lawyer and chairperson, currently serving as the Head of M&A for EMEA at DLA Piper since 2003. Previously, they held positions as a Partner at Shaw Pittman, where they co-headed the Corporate division in London, and as a Director at Vesta Capital. Robert began their legal career as an Associate at Herbert Smith from 1993 to 2000 and completed education at the University of Exeter with a BA in Economics and Politics, followed by the College of Law, Chester. They specialize in advising clients on cross-border M&A, private equity, joint ventures, and group reorganizations, with a focus on IP-rich businesses across various sectors.
