Sarah Bode

Sarah Bode is a Partner at DLA Piper, having joined the firm in September 2011. Bode's corporate and commercial practice specializes in M&A, investment funds, structuring and reorganization, private corporate governance, secured finance, and contractual relationships, focusing on operations within Canada. Prior to this role, Bode served as an Associate at DLA Piper in the Toronto office, engaging in general corporate/commercial, securities, and banking and finance law. Bode began legal training at Davis LLP as a Student-at-Law from August 2010 to June 2011 and previously completed a Summer Student position at the same firm in May to August 2009. Bode earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto in 2010 and holds an Hon. B.A. in Archaeology and Near Eastern Studies from the same institution, completed in 2005. Educational background includes attendance at Lakefield College School from 1997 to 2001.
