Dan Steerman

Dan Steerman is an experienced leader in engineering and process development, currently serving as the Director of Process Development and Automation and the Director of Strategic Initiatives at dlhBOWLES since December 2012. In this role, Dan collaborates with executive management to shape corporate goals and oversees critical activities such as facility design, vendor negotiations, and team improvement. Previous positions include Director of Engineering Technology at Blue Ridge Community and Technical College, where Dan developed engineering programs and built industry relationships, and Director of Engineering at Bowles Fluidics, focusing on corporate engineering processes. Dan's engineering career began with roles at Bowles Fluidics Corporation and Globe Lift, emphasizing product development and design. Dan holds a Master's degree in Technical Management from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
