Pere Menal Ferrer

Pere Menal Ferrer is a Senior AI Engineer at dLocal since 2025, bringing extensive experience in data science and artificial intelligence. Previously, they held positions as a Lead Data Scientist at Stuart from 2019 to 2025, and as a Senior Data Scientist at Privalia in 2018. Pere has also served as a visiting assistant professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2015 and as a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute from 2012 to 2013. They earned a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where they also completed a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in the same field.
