Sofia Lanaro Furest is a public accountant and economist who currently serves as the Head of Treasury for APAC and EMEA at dLocal. From 2021 to 2022, they held various positions at dLocal, including Head of Business Assurance and Business Assurance Manager. Prior to this, they worked as an Audit Senior at Baker Tilly Uruguay from 2012 to 2019 and briefly as a Junior External Auditor at Mazars in 2009. Sofia earned a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Audit, a Licenciatura en Economía, and a degree in Public Accounting from Universidad de la República.
