Dr. Tim Shimp is currently an Educational Learning Designer at DLR Group, beginning in May 2023. Prior to this role, Dr. Shimp served in various positions within Yorkville Community Unit School District #115 from July 2007 to April 2023, including Superintendent of Schools, Associate Superintendent, and High School Principal at Yorkville High School. Dr. Shimp's earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Principal at Hinsdale Central High School from July 1999 to June 2007. Dr. Shimp holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership and Administration from Aurora University, a Master's degree in Educational Administration from Northern Illinois University, and a Bachelor's degree in Education from Illinois State University.
