Emily Moore

Emily Moore is a Senior Designer at DLR Group, specializing in museum and performing arts design since January 2021, with notable involvement in the Ismaili Cultural Center project alongside Farshid Moussavi. Concurrently, since January 2015, Emily serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston, focusing on foundation and senior comprehensive studio courses. Prior experience includes founding Moore Design Works from May 2014 to December 2020, and working as a Designer and Project Manager at Renzo Piano Building Workshop from 2007 to 2014, contributing to significant projects such as the Kimbell Art Museum addition and the Isabella Stuart Gardner Museum addition. Emily began her career with internships at Renzo Piano Building Workshop and Terre Bianche Architects, where foundational projects included the adaptive reuse of an abattoir into a performing arts theater in Italy. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in Architecture from Clemson University and a Master of Architecture from The University of Texas at Austin.
