John Loest

John Loest is an accomplished architect with extensive experience spanning over a decade in the field. Currently serving as an Architect - Associate at DLR Group since April 2017, John has held various roles including Project Designer and Associate - Project Designer. Prior to this, John worked at LPA Inc. as a Designer focusing on K-12 architecture projects, notably contributing to the design of Menlo Park Small High School. Earlier experiences include a role as a Building Case Study Assistant at the University of Oregon, freelance design work, and positions at WMB Architects, John Webb Construction & Design, and Ventura County Community College District. John holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Oregon and an Associate of Arts degree from Ventura College, with a strong emphasis on math and science-related studies.
