Jon Young

Jon Young, also known as Yong Yuan, has extensive experience in architecture and urban design, holding various prominent positions across multiple organizations. Key roles include serving as an Expert Member on the Tumen City Government Planning Committee, where valuable evaluations and optimization ideas for city development planning were contributed, and as Senior Vice President at Agapolis Architectural Consultant, leading design and consulting services across several countries. With a background as Director of the Urban Design & Architectural Design Department at BNC Co., LTD, expertise in managing urban projects was further honed. Jon's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering in Architecture from Yanbian University of Science & Technology and dual Master’s degrees in Urban Design and Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis. Current involvement includes working as a Senior Architect at DLR Group and contributing to research initiatives, highlighting a strong commitment to both practical application and academic inquiry in the field.
