Patrick Barrett serves as the Theatrical Planning Leader at DLR Group since May 2017, specializing in the design and planning of performing arts facilities. In addition, Patrick is the owner of Patrick Barrett Theater Consulting, providing theater consulting and project management services since February 2010. As an Adjunct Faculty member in Theater Planning & Sound Design at the University of Connecticut since January 2013, Patrick has developed original course materials and lesson plans. Previous experience includes roles as Director of Project Management and Senior Consultant at Artec Consultants Inc, Project Manager at Pook, Diemont, & Ohl, and Technical Coordinator at RH Productions. Patrick holds an MFA in Technical Design & Production from Yale University and a BA in Theater Studies with a focus on sound design from the University of Connecticut.
