Alexander Lau

Alexander Lau is currently the Acting Head of Department at the DLR Institute of Air Transport, having previously served as Group Lead and Project Manager at Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V. They gained experience as a Research Associate at the same organization from 2009 to 2016 and worked as a Development Engineer at DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH from 2007 to 2008. Alexander started their academic journey at Technische Universität Berlin, where they earned a Diploma in Aerospace Transport Engineering, and furthered their education with a Dr.-Ing. in Air Traffic Flow Management from Technische Universität Hamburg. They also briefly attended The University of Queensland in 2007.
