Andreas Treuer

Andreas Treuer is the IoT & Robotics Lab Lead at the European Space Agency (ESA), where they develop VR and haptic solutions to enhance astronaut training and support various space initiatives. With over two years of experience in XR and haptics engineering, Andreas has previously contributed to projects at renowned organizations like Rolls-Royce and RWTH Aachen, developing technologies for autonomous UAVs and haptic interfaces. They hold a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from RWTH Aachen University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Passionate about advancing space exploration, Andreas actively promotes XR technologies within the aerospace sector.
