Andrés Camero

Andrés Camero is currently the Co-Head of the Department of EO Data Science at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and has been a visiting researcher at the Technical University of Munich since 2020. With over 10 years of experience in artificial intelligence and a strong technical background, Andrés has held various roles including team leader of a Helmholtz AI consultant team and co-founder of AISnetworks. They earned a Doctorate in Computer Science with Cum Laude recognition from Universidad de Málaga and have also served as a Research Manager at Minera Los Pelambres and as an IT Project Manager at LATAM Airlines. Previously, Andrés worked as an undergraduate teaching assistant at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, contributing to several programming courses.
