Anja Rösel

Anja Rösel is currently a Co-Lead at MF-DAS with the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V. where they manage scientific endeavors within the Remote Sensing Technology Institute. Previously, they held roles as a Science Manager and Scientist at DLR and worked as a Meteorologist in Antarctica. Anja's extensive experience includes positions at the Alfred Wegener Institute, Umweltbundesamt, and Norsk Polarinstitutt, focusing on remote sensing and data analysis related to snow and sea ice. They earned a PhD in Oceanography from the University of Hamburg and are currently pursuing a Diploma in Physical Geography and Remote Sensing at Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München.
