Chen Zhu

Chen Zhu is a Research Fellow at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the Head of the Visual and Terrestrial Augmentation Group. They currently serve as an External Lecturer on "Multisensorial and Camera-based Navigation" at RWTH Aachen University and have held various research positions, including a Research Assistant at the Institute of Communications and Navigation at the Technical University of Munich. With a Doctorate in Electrical and Computer Engineering, also from the Technical University of Munich, Chen has a strong background in navigation technologies, drone operations, and sensor fusion, having coordinated UAV Navigation Activities at DLR since 2018. Prior to these roles, Chen gained valuable experience as an intern at both DLR and Trimble Navigation.
