Daniel Lichte is currently the Head of Department for Methods for Risk and Resilience at Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V., a position held since 2021. Prior to this, Daniel worked as a Research Group Lead, focusing on resilience theory and methods. From 2010 to 2016, Daniel served as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter and Research Group Lead at Institut Für Sicherungssysteme, concentrating on risk management and security analysis. Daniel earned a Dr.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering from Bergische Universität Wuppertal and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Mechanical Engineering from Ruhr-Universität Bochum.
