Jan B. is currently the Leiter Projektträger Luftfahrtforschung at the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V., a position held since 2019. Previously, Jan served as a Referent in various capacities across multiple agencies, including the Bundesamt für Wehrtechnik und Beschaffung and the Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie. Jan completed a Diplom-Ingenieurin (Dipl.Ing.) degree in Maschinenbau Fachrichtung Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik from Technische Universität München in 2005.
