Jens Jordan

Jens Jordan is the director of the DLR Institute of Aerospace Medicine. Previously, from 2008 to 2016, Jens served as the director of the Institute for Clinical Pharmacology at Hannover Medical School. Jens graduated from the Medical School at Freie Universität Berlin and trained in clinical pharmacology and internal medicine at the Franz-Volhard Clinic in Berlin and Vanderbilt University. An expert in cardiovascular diseases, particularly rare autonomic nervous system disorders, Jens and their research group focus on mechanisms controlling cardiovascular regulation to enhance healthy lifespans on Earth and in space. Additionally, Jens co-founded Eternygen GmbH in 2012.
