Jens Tank

Jens Tank is the Head of Cardiovascular Aerospace Medicine at Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V., a position held since 2017. Prior to this, they served as a University Professor at Hannover Medical School from 2008 to 2017, leading clinical research in cardiovascular clinical pharmacology. From 1999 to 2008, Jens was a Senior Physician Scientist at Charité Berlin, specializing in internal medicine, hypertension, and diseases of the autonomic nervous system. Jens earned a Physician/Biophysicist degree from the University of Medicine of Russia and an M.D. from the Technical University of Dresden, Germany.
