Jörn Groos

Jörn Groos is currently the Group Leader for Asset and System Monitoring at the Institute of Transportation Systems within the German Aerospace Center (DLR), where they focus on innovative strategies for condition monitoring and predictive maintenance of transport infrastructure. With a strong academic background that includes a Dr. rer. nat. from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and a Diplom-Geophysiker from Universität Karlsruhe (TH), Jörn has had a diverse career that includes roles such as Akademischer Mitarbeiter at KIT and Geschäftsführer at Groos & Ultes EDV und Informationstechnik GdbR. They have been involved in research and development at DLR since 2014 and have held the position of Gruppenleiter since 2016.
