Marius Bach

Jan Marius Bach is an experienced aerospace executive currently serving as the Deputy Head of the Mission Operations Department at the German Aerospace Center (DLR). With over 12 years in mission operations and team leadership, Jan's expertise encompasses managing satellite missions and developing new technologies for human spaceflight. They lead the "New Concepts and Technologies" group, focusing on small satellite operations and training programs. Previously, Jan held the position of Lead Flight Director for the European Columbus Module operations, where they ensured safety and coordinated international teams during critical missions. Jan earned their Master of Business Administration and holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Stuttgart.
