Maximilian Spangenberg

Maximilian Spangenberg is an accomplished professional in the fields of space system technology, business development, and technology management, with extensive experience across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Programme Topic Coordinator for Space System Technology & Space Transportation at Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V. since January 2023, Maximilian has previously held key positions as Grant Manager at Voltfang, Head of Business Development at e.SAT GmbH, and Group Manager for Technology Foresight at Fraunhofer-Institut für Produktionstechnologie IPT. Additional roles include a Young Graduate Trainee at the European Space Agency and experience in various capacities at Airbus Defence and Space. Maximilian holds a Master of Science in Space Engineering as well as Bachelor degrees in Business Administration and Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, complemented by an Erasmus semester at ISAE-SUPAERO.
